Frequently Asked Questions
-
Getting started is simple. Reach out through my contact form or schedule an appointment. You can schedule an appointment online with any of the book appointment buttons found on the website.

Getting on the massage table: I am trained in safe and secure draping and undraping practices. Clients will be given privacy to undress and get on the massage table. Most clients will choose to be fully undressed, knowing that they will be covered, except when areas are being treated. You may also choose to leave on underwear. We also respect that there may be other reasons that someone would not want to get fully undressed.
If you choose to leave your clothes fully on, please let me know when you fill out the “Reason for Your Visit” form linked to your reminder emails/texts. Coming to your appointment in shorts and a tank top can help us have more direct access to areas that may need addressed based on your needs, but I can work directly through clothing also. If you need to talk more to me about your needs prior to your appointment, please let me know.
Communication: Clients can have different preferences for techniques, pressure, temperature, emollient (oils or lotions), music, etc. I welcome and encourage you to let me know what you would like at any time during your session.
ALL massages follow the ethical and legal requirements of WA State Dept. of Health, WACs & RCWs. Any illegal or unethical requests will result in termination of session and inability to return. Full payment will be required even if session terminated.

You can reach me anytime via my contact page or email (simeon@slc-massage.com). I aim to respond quickly as possible and usually within one business day.

Tipping is never expected, as my rates are fully inclusive of the specialized, clinical care and individualized attention provided in each session. Your presence and trust are the greatest compliments. If you feel moved to show extra appreciation, a tip is always welcomed and deeply valued, but please never feel any obligation. The best way to support my business is simply by returning and recommending my services to others.

I am dependent on appointments and do have a cancellation fee.
No Show fee: Missed appointments are subject to a $50 fee or full price for the appointment. The $50 fee applies to the first two occurrences, then prepayment and full price fee will be required. Excessive missed appointments may lead to termination.
Cancel under 24 hours: $50 fee. Late arrival to your appointment may shorten your treatment time. Fees may be waved in special circumstances, such as emergencies and illnesses, and will be assessed individually when requesting a cancellation with less than 24 hours until your appointment.
If you can't make it, and would like to avoid the fee then you can:
Send someone in your place — just let me know by call, text, or email who will be coming. If they are new, please tell them to arrive early to complete intake forms.
